I remember walking into my dealer & placing my order as well as a down payment. 6th of 10 pre-production orders that were taken by the dealer. Date was 10/29/09...black/black 2SS/RS LS3 MN6. Picked up AUGUST 22, 2009!!! WORTH THE WAIT-LOVE THE CAR!! IT IS ALL GOOD!!! jlnX2 LS3

Was out riding Harleys with my brother and stopped into the Chevy dealer near my house to ""just look"".... Walked in the door, saw my soon to be red 2SS and couldn't believe they had no mark up. Every other dealer I'd been to was 5 to 15k over MSRP. Get this, a guy ordered the car 6 months before, got impaitent and ended up buying the 1st Camero RS the dealer received the week before. So when my SS came in, they rolled it into the showrrom floor and we walked in awhile later. This is the very best car I've had, bar none. Its been a fun few months.

I put my order in with the dealership a month and a half before the official GM order date. I was able to be the first allocation. The dealership didn't send their order into to GM until a full week and half after the official date! I was still able to get the 647th Camaro produced and LOVE IT. I have had only one problem and that is that the driver side plastic pillar cover came loose and a replacement was sent under warranty. I am now the first allocation for the Chevy Volt and I hope to god the wait isn't nearly as long!

I remember it very well. Ordered my 1 SS L99 SIM on the 14th and I drove it off the lot April 28th. What a ride.

Got a call from my dealer, he said "Hey I hear you can order the Camaro now". Then I promptly found Camaro5 online and became a member. Two days later I went in and ordered the car. First one to order and the first one to be delivered....as it should've been.
