Don't you mean it keeps the same front end including the hood as it has now but the rear will be the new style.

I have posted this in two other threads but I will post it in here too...
All you so called Camaro enthusiasts need to get your heads out of your butts and quit saying the tail lights look like a Honda, Nissan, Acura, etc etc... You need your American citizenship revoked if you cannot see the influence in some of the classic Chevys from the 60's and 70's. it has been pointed out numerous times the new lights have design elements from the 66 and 67 impala SS, the 69 Camaro, the 75-78 Monza coupe, the mid to late 70's Camaros, all of which came BEFORE any of those lame ass Japanese cars. Note: I am not saying that you cannot hate it, its just these Japanese comparasons are just stupid, especially when there were Chevys that came before them that were the actual inspiration.

I like the changes, it looks better than the 10-13 but if I still had my 10-SS there would not be enough there for me to trade it in on the 14 unless I got a great deal.

I never said one word about anyone not liking it, I said comparing it to a Honda or Nissan or Acuras etc was just plain stupid when the actual influence came from Chevrolets from even earlier than that. I updated my origional post to clarify that point...

REALLY???????
Not sure what you are seeing..... i'm a GM/Chevy guy to the core, owned a 70 1/2 Camaro,69 Camaro Vert, 87 Iroc Z, 2 X 68 Chevelle SS's, 79 T/A, 69 442, to name a few...love The bowtie!..... but this rear of this car is terrible, and these tailights look NOTHING like the 69 its trying to mimic..... really COULD have hit a home run with a better design to emulate back to its 1969 roots....really disappointed with that and happy i own a 10'

The sole fact of the corner wrapping around on to the 1/4 panel in itself absolutely kills it. Why couldn't they square them up like the 69 will a little modern flare to it and put them on the back panel, maybe put the blackout on there as well to really look like a 69............like what dodge did with the Challenger, that back looks like the modern day version of the Challenger of old They (*GM) really could have hit it out of the park had they had done something more like that and that would have pleased EVERYONE |
