Wow quite a drop.

In fact, besides the first month of reintroduction in 2009, Camaro has not sold that poorly since before it was discontinued.

Well, let's hope it can survive long enough for the next generation. Maybe then GM will have the spine to push the design. Oh, and give us a little more side window.

Keep in mind, people aren't exactly looking to get a RWD pony car when there's a foot of snow on the ground...

That being said, bad numbers throughout the entire industry for last month. Perhaps people aren't looking to get any cars at all when there's a foot of snow on the ground.

It is crazy since this car is the best Camaro EVER. I think they just need to work harder to get people out of their 5th gens.

The whole market obviously look a pretty big hit. I'm going to go on a limb though and say that there's a very real chance that the Challenger, which is a 10 year old car at this point, could briefly beat out the Camaro in sales. Less than a 200 unit difference. That's pretty bad no matter how you try to rationalize it.

I'll admit I don't pay much attention to the weather in the rest of the country, but here in Chicago we had one of our mildest January's ever with .6" of snow

Two things.

1- People don't buy these type of cars during the winter.

2- The market trend as a whole is moving towards crossovers/SUV's (unfortunately).

Challenger has a MUCH larger TV advertising presence as well. I am constantly seeing Dodge AWD adverts for Challengers and Chargers.

I only ever see Camaro in occasional glimpses with other GM vehicles.

I NEVER see Mustangs in commercials.
