Check out the "upgraded what should be next" thread about 10-15 threads presently down from yours in the 1LE forum. There are several people who refer to a rear suspension mod they are happy with for dealing with wheel hop. Hope that helps.

Easy one - we take it to a real track, not a drag strip. Problem is 100% solved that way.

I never had wheel hop on the street or at the drag strip. (Ran 12.9s showroom stock) Your 1LE has some upgraded bushings that 2010-12 SS do not have. You do not need to swap all the parts that the older model years need to.
I did have wheel spin issues with the stock tires. After I swapped tires the wheel spin issue were reduced as well.

In regards to your 1LE, with G2 tires and wheel hop issues, first two words on the list, cold temperatures.
Those that never see cold temps, they might never have experienced the hop. Might. |

My first time at the drag strip I had little wheel hop but I also didn't have the "nannies" turned off and I hadn't had a RWD V8 car in over 6 years. I'm headed back to the track this weekend and the temperatures are supposed to be mid 60's. A little cool but I thought about lowering the pressure in the tires a few pounds. I used to do that in my 02 WS6. It helped some but it was also an auto. Much easier at the track. We shall see. I'd like to add some BMR trailing arms and cradle bushings soon but not sure who I would have install my cradle bushings. Seems like a bit of a job.
