I wouldn't mind my engine looking like this.

Looks like you can't get a Strut tower brace on there. I loved the cool billet STB on the concept.

and for the engine cover.... i like it... look at it this way, the vette is a supermodel in the world of cars the camaro is the average hottie same way the vette is the expensive supercar and the camaro is the everyman's corvette.

That hood strut is right in the way of installing a straight-across strut tower brace. Now the aftermarket is going to have to complicate the design to accomidate, thus making it more expensive. Not a big deal to most, but for the serious modder it's just an inconvenience. I do find the single strut design to support the hood interesting though.
On another note it still looks like it's going to be a royal pain in the butt to a)install headers and b)get to the rear two spark plugs. |

just thought of something else with the STB....
its going to have to go back, then accross to clear the hood strut mount itself. like this.

Simple...relocate the strut to the brace after it is installed.

Thats a good point, I didn't even think of that, but I do think the manual will be getting the same engine cover.

That's a very nice powerplant bay. The angularity of the cover suits the Camaro's appearance very well.

Exactly...No one I heard commented that it looks cheap or ugly etc. The problem is, photos just don't do the whole car justice...it is GOR JUSS!! I took a real good look at the bumblebee car, then looked at the silver car, the intent of the whole design crossed over very well. Kudos to all the design team.

Good point. I think I would have at least an "SS" in the place of "V8" though. Its nice to see there will be a lot more opportunities for dress-up mods this time around.
