Did this thread really come back after 6 years?

Manual cause I am a 56 year old gear jammer. Nothing beats a well executed downshift coming into a corner and then using oversteer to come around it.

45- manual
Nothing like holding a gear and punching the throttle, no slop, instant acceleration.

65 - manual - used to drag race NHRA Modified Production. Stick is the only way to go.

21 when I got my Camaro, 22 now went with 6MT practiced before that on a beater than was bought and sold in month or two with only 700 kms accumulated on it (damn that clutch was very very very stiff ) age has nothing with transmission choice if some one is in good health shape I believe, all our cars are automatic I just wanted to feel the manual shifting that's all and I appreciated that

23 m, got the 6 M/T because it's a shame to see so many automatic sports cars out there! Unless they are dual-clutch...

My first long-term manual, I bought an '03 eclipse beater car to learn on (and because my Volvo c70 engine blew, drove the eclipse until I got a new engine in the volvo). Man was that eclipse's clutch GONE when I traded it in for the camaro!
