Identification of Dome Light Wire - 2012 Camaro
I am wiring or trying to wire some LED's under the dash. I'm trying to find the grey wire that controls the dome light. I have attached a jpg that shows a grey wire in the Grey conductor as well as what appears to be grey wires in the Pink connector.
Can someone please advise me what grey wire I should be hooking into. (Hopefully the picture came over with the text. Thanks Ted |

Not sure on the 2012, but on my 11 it is the grey wire in the grey connector.

Yeup, it's the gray wire top right corner next to the orange/back wire I just did this last saturday, works like a charm.

Grey wire in the grey connector.
Put an inline fuse in the new wires that you run from this tap; because nothing's quite as fun as a shorted-out BCM. Enjoy the free back pain as you tap this wire.

Thank you for this. It helped me out. I had a rough time stripping wire, but I got to attach a nice breakout with an inline fuse.

Stripping the wire ?
Do Not Strip the wire , Use an IDC tap. It is much safer, There is no chance of a short then.
