Rock Auto Closeout

Hey, I haven’t posted here in awhile since getting my 6th Gen, however I just received and email about a closeout sale at Rock Auto, for many parts that fit the 5th Gen. Just thought I give the forum a heads up! Cheers!

too bad Rock Auto sucks. I've ordered from them twice and always got the wrong part. So, good luck actually getting Camaro parts, you'll probably receive BMW or Toyota parts instead,

I have ordered numerous parts from them over the years for different cars, and never had an issue. always was the right one.

Never had a problem with them. Ordered multiple times. Sometimes I find their shipping a bit high, but no issues. That's not to say they're perfect, but my experience has been good.

I have way more problems with Amazon than Rock Auto.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I have had great luck with RockAuto and have used them quite a bit. Very good prices on OEM parts. I just hate waiting at least a week for every shipment, and their faster shipping is $$$ - shows how Amazon spoils us. RockAuto is also great for finding OE part numbers for cross referencing.

My main complaint with them is that they do not carry a lot of specialty part categories, but they do carry all of the main stuff.

From RockAuto I have bought a radiator for my Escalade, an A/C compressor and condenser for my Cruze, and for the Camaro - an A/C Compressor, trans pan , both window switches , and a stack of 5 blend doors lol. I have bought more but I don't remember the other stuff.

Everything I've looked at so far has not been on sale.

As an aside, their shipping costs have been kind of stupid lately. Things like having a few things in the cart and they're charging separate shipping charges, at least one being high, when the items come from two different locations. Their sourcing and disparate distribution is not my problem.
