Hendricks Bushings recommendation
Anyone used Hendricks rear cradle solid bushings or Hendricks offset differential bushings?
Phastek has a great sale and I am looking for reviews. Alternatively, I am looking at aFE rear cradle bushings. Comparisons?

I have both Hendrix bushing sets. Their offset bushings eliminated my axle busting; the cradle bushings eliminated that floaty, “tail-wagging-the-dog” feeing as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

How is the noise factor?

Hmm... how do I put this... you can either solve a problem or not hear the gears - choose the option you find more important.
I don’t think it’s bad at all, but that’s subjective. I also have a BTR4 with long tubes so my exhaust essentially drowns the gear whine out.

I also just have no idea what kind of noise is coming from the bushings.

It is literally just gear whine - like if someone didn’t set up the rear correctly during a gear swap. For me it only happens when decelerating/coasting. Otherwise, it’s like stock.

And the upside for the differential bushings is an improved angle for the differential on hard acceleration, so increased traction on launch. Anything else?

It also is significantly less stress on the CV shafts as it helps to take the extreme angle off of them, especially if lowered. As soon as I got my car I busted two passenger side axles within a month - and I wasn’t even really pounding on it when they went. Ever since the bushings went in I’ve thoroughly abused the car on the street and road course and they’ve not had any issue whatsoever.
I actually talked to Thomas Hendrix himself before I ordered the parts as I was ready to spend the big money on better axles which he sells. He convinced me to just try the bushings first and I’m glad I took his advice.

$100 off, so they are $399 for rear cradle and the rear differential are on sale for $149. You can get both for less than the AFe rear cradle by itself.

Damn now that is a deal. Anyone have ballpark on labor in hours at a shop? As much as I’d love to remove the rear end myself, I don’t have the proper tools to do the bushings. I’d guess 4-5? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Differential bushings... I just used a reciprocating saw, chisel and hammer to get them out. Getting them in I had the bushings in the freezer over night and pulled them one at a time and hammered in with a rubber mallet after spraying the holes with dry lube first.
