Ft. Lauderdale GM Training - Learned a few things
Not sure if this information was already posted or not, but the bluetooth is for more then just your phone calls...
I went to the Ft. Lauderdale training seminar this morning and apparently you can stream music via bluetooth from your blackberry or whatever straight to the car! The guy that was showing us was doing it from like 15 feet away from the car. So if you have an mp3 player taht is equipped with bluetooth you don't need any type of wires! They also made a big deal of all the people who pre-ordered the Camaro. They seemed pretty proud and excited about it. Found out that the V6 models are wider in the back than the SS's. V6: 63.7" front track, 64.1" rear SS: 63.7" front and back They also told us how they went through 13 molds to get the proper stamping for the sides of the car. You will be getting 3 keys with your Camaro...1 flip out that we've all seen pictures of, 1 straight key with a fob, and 1 valet key. Remote start can turn on your heated seats for all you northerners. 55% of the pre-orders were conquests. This meaning they came from buying a brand other than GM. Thought you all would enjoy this info...sorry if some of it was already known.

Was wondering the same thing myself... Can any others verify what type of keys they received?

But...they should also be asking all of us who ordered in October how we are feeling today as the customers. |

He probably was using the bluetooth in the car as a headset vs actual integrations with the controls on the radio and steering wheel. Just like I play music over my Jabra handsfree earpiece if i wanted to. It's nice but not sure the quality is there to warrant using it like this. |

I think i saw a photo of someone that got their car where they have everything laid out,and they had two switchblade keys.I really do hope that we get a valet key though.

Is the V6 track a little wider due to tire width at all? I wonder if they're using "base" wheels and tires that have a little more "bulge" to them (its only .4in)?

I like to find out for sure about the keys. Hopefully Embalmer will let us know. Our training class they stated that we would get one flip out key and the other one would look like a flip out key, but the key would stay out all the time. Sound stupid to have one that stays out all the time. Probably jab someone in the leg. LOL
