Exhaust Opinions

Hey ppl

Im planning to get a exhaust for my 2013 V6.

Im down to three options finally.

1. MRT V2.0
2. Borla 11776 (Not heard any good things yet on this)
3. SLP PowerFlo 31200a

Can you all tell opinions on these and if you have any videos of them.

P.S. Im planning to add the exhaust with CAI

MRT seems to be the MOST popular for the v6's. I have V1.0 and I love it. There are many vids on youtube and on this forum. There is an exhaust thread in the LFX bolt on section with a lot of info and videos. hope this helps

I have the MRT V2.0 and I absolutely love mine. I can't comment on the other exhaust. Below is a clip of mine. I have Solo HFC's installed on the exhaust as well.

Sounds good. Any drone with that set up? I have v1 and was looking into solo HFC as well.

I have a hard time commenting on drone because I think everyone hears it different. I don't hear the so called drone on mine, I consider drone that hollow sound that resonates through out the car at a certain RPM (everyone seems to claim 2000 RPM) but I have the auto trans and it cruises at 60 at around 1500 and I don't have that drone sound. I have been on the interstate cruising at 75 MPH and I hear more road noise than I do exhaust. Now, I do hear the exhaust at cruising 60 MPH, it is not loud but then it's not quiet either, I have the radio on a local FM station and the volume on 10 and I can here it just fine. My friend and I just took about a 250 mile trip and had a normal conversation without yelling or being annoyed by exhaust sound. I even asked him what his thoughts were about the sound at cruising and he said he just tunes it out. I love the V2 mufflers and it did make them sound better with the HFC's. I do still have a hard time justifying the money I spent on them but I do like the way it sounds now. Hope this helps.

Dean.

The link only takes me to the accessory page where you enter vehicle info. What are you trying to add?

Dean.

Thanks for the info. Thinking twice about the HFC's. And yes that's the drone I'm talking about. 2000 rpm. It gets annoying on long trips and going up hills. The j pipes I'm adding will take care of that though.

Ever consider SOLO, I have their HFC and full exhaust, sounds great, no drone, quiet when cruising and opens up like a ferrari on steroids when pushed hard...

MRT V2.0 seems to be the most popular. SOLO and Corsa good options also.
