New built transmission slipping

Hi y’all, I got my 6l80 built a few days ago and just got around to breaking it in and filling it up with fluids, currently the trans fluid is at the correct level it should be at but when I put it in drive or sport mode (without paddles) it slips out of gear with a little rev, but when I use the paddle shifters it stays in gear just fine.

Im not sure, ill ask my builder if he did that, it started happening on the transmission before I got it built, found out water got in making the fluid pink and burning everything up, before that everything was all good.

I had a ZL1 back when they first started using the 10 speed that did the same thing when it was cold. Had the trans apart 2 times and didn't find anything. Finally convinced the product engineer to let me try a converter. That ended up fixing the car.....why I have no clue, but they took the old converter back to Detroit.

The converter is a brand new 4400 circle d single disk, i hope its not a converter issue

I installed it after the rebuild, triple checked everything, used reference photos etc.

The transmission adepts have to be reset once the transmission is back in the car.

Well took it to g-force motorsports down here in south Houston, they found a lot of metal in the trans pan and are taking the trans back out to disassemble it and find out what's wrong, they think the transmission wasn't built correctly, but we will find out soon enough

Without even looking at it I can tell you if there's metal debris in the pan, the front pump is destroyed for sure!
