Square set up
Questions to you all! I want to do the square set up with the 1le specs 285/35/20. How does the car feel overall, performance, handling etc. I want rotate my tires for even wear. What's the off sets for front/rear. Thank you for taking time to answer my questions. I know it's been asked before, but I want some current up to date answer from people who just switched to this set up from stock sets. Thank you.( Ride it like you stole it)

Just get another set of SS rear wheels for the front and throw the 285s on..

I run 285-35-20MPSS's all around on 20x10+23et so that I can rotate front to rear. I have suspension work and the car handles much better than when I had the same suspension mods, but I was running a 275-40-20 Nitto Invo and PZeros all around on factory 20x9 SS wheels. A 9" wheel is not recommended for a 285.

in order to run that 285 youll want a 10" wheel. the 1le front wheel is a 20x10 and the rear is a 20x11 just like the zl1 but with a 285 instead of a 305. that's why if you look at a 1le the rear tire looks very stretched and its very common for 1le guys to put the 305's on the rear. so if you do as I did and run that front 20x10 +23 offset your rear tires will sit flush with the fenders and the front tires will have a tiny bit of poke to them. I recommend getting an alignment and maxing out the stock camber bolts. they managed to get about -1.8 degree of camber out of mine which tucks the top of the tire in nicely. I have not noticed any abnormal tire wear on the insides either so I wouldn't worry about that.

Also run a 19x11" wide rim in a square setup in 305s. Just have to be ok with some poke which has its own badassery look imo.

If you research the wheel/tire section.....there is a lot of current info on this.
