My $114 E-bay Spoiler

I received my spoiler this evening, I took some pictures of it and here they are, the instructions they sent are useless they are just a universal instruction sheet, it comes with 6 screws, 6 foam pads, 6 plastic plugs, a tube of rust preventer and some funky paper strips with holes in them you are supposed to use for a template, I will make my own using the box the spoiler was shipped in...
Oh the spoiler is made from blow molded plastic and weighs about 3 pounds.. the paint looks wonderful, no runs and very smooth.
Tell me what you think was it worth $114.00

Does it seem worth buying? Will it be an easy install?

Myself I think it is worth it, and for me I will have no problem installing it..
I have installed many spoilers since i put my first one on in 1973....
I will try to write up a detailed installation along with pictures if I don't forget to do so...
I may take it to the dealer tomorrow and see if they will let me test fit it on one of their LS cars.

Since this spoiler is so lightweight I am tempted to try the 3M tape I can get at the auto paint supply house, it is a little thicker than what you get at the discount part stores and you can get it in different widths. I used it on a similar spoiler I put on another car and It held very well.

I put a SRT 8 Spoiler on my crysler 300c, got it off Ebay. It help for 3 years with the double side 3M tape. Looks good, good luck on the install. I also had installed the GTO spoiler on my SSR, and I can tell you patience and measure twice drill once.

the only reason I am wanting to try the tape first is the thoughts of drilling into my brand new car kind of give me the creeps... plus if I use the tape and keep a close eye on it for I can always drill after a year or so.. when the new wears off... and it's not like the very expensive factory one.... I do hope the mounting holes line up with the factory locations...

Ya that's the only thing that I would be worried about is the mounting holes with the new spoiler to the car. But if they said it was OEM Style It should be the same
