Official Emerald Green/ Green Flash Edition Camaro Thread

Well, finally put new rear sneakers on the Flash. I actually got 39k miles out of those Pirelli’s. I got a great deal on a pair of 295/35ZR21 tires - Achilles Sport AT-2s. Just a little bigger diameter but fit and look great!! Especially for under 300 bucks installed!!! Fantastic alternative to the stock 275/35 size with zero fitment issues.

I also got some new rear tires a few months ago. I went with same size 295 35 but chose the Atturo band. They really hook great from a dead stop until last week after I got her tuned. I got the AFM turned off and more aggressive shift points. Now hooking in 1st gear is non existent...lol

I love how you painted your engine cover, that's exactly what I want to do to mine and also my anti-sway bar on top (Convertible only).

Did you do it yourself, or buy it? If you did it yourself, did you have to primer it up first?

Lookin good man!!!!!

Thanks....I have a good friend that has a paint & body shop. He actually ordered me a brand new one and painted it because I had cleaned my old one with ArmorAll. He says ArmorAll makes it nearly impossible to paint because the silicon in it makes paint fish eye(bubble up) $120... I swap them out and use the green one for shows

I'm looking to buy a axle back exhaust system and the ones I looked at say not for use with factory ground effects. Since our cars have the factory ground effects does anyone know of a system that will work? Thanks.

I am not sure that applies to us since we have the correct rear valance compared to the normal SS. I'm assuming you do not have the NPP exhaust.

No, I just have the standard exhaust with the single tip. So any axle bach system should work?

Yes. I had the single also. There is just a small metal plate that will have to be cut out but it’s easy
