I currently have a Magnaflow cat-back muffler delete exhaust. It sounded great before installing the LT's, but now it's too loud. I just ordered the Magnaglow axle-back with mufflers and will make the change as soon as it arrives. With the LT's, it was just too loud to be a daily driver.

I'm very interested in these headers. But a little gun shy. I want to wait to see how everyone likes them after running them for a few thousand miles.

I'm also very interested! I just can't decide if I would go with just the catless mids or spend the extra $240 for cats. What would one have advantage over the other? We don't have emission testing here but without cats aren't we spewing more crap into the air? I guess that's where the argument lies....no cats=more power and more pollutants, cats=less pollutants but also a little less power, right?

Also, with the catless mids even though they look like cats they don't have the rear O2 bung so wouldn't that be a red flag to inspection techs?

Why are the 304 series headers less than the 409 series? Typically 304 costs more than 409. Other than material, what is the difference?

If it wasn't for the whole needing a tune after longtubes I would def buy these..if I could find some o2 simulators that would be good...I just don't want to tune my car yet cuz of the warranty..hmmm....its so tempting

Don't forget guys we still offer the 3" x pipe for stock mufflers, or the complete 3" exhaust system with magnaflow mufflers. That entire combo will work with the 304 or 409 stainless headers!!

Jason, can you answer my questions in post #31? I just need some guidance before I purchase to know what I should get. I currently have DT shorties and Solo high flows and I want to upgrade to LT's. Thanks!

There is maybe a 5hp differance between the two. If your worried about it get them. Each inspection station is different I mean if you want to get tech on the subject just moving the location of the cats is a NO NO.

If you already have the SLP axle back, go with the SLP LTs as well. They are awesome and look incredible as well. Not to mention everything will fit up like legos! I have all SLP exhaust components and they were super easy to install even with simple floor jack and stands.

Jon
Will these headers and cats bolt up to a Boral Catback system?

Do you have a catback with an x-pipe or do you have just an axle back? Let me know and I'll do some checking.

I have the Borla cat back system. It bolted directly to the stock cats.
