I have been producing electronic music for about 10 years now, would be cool to see if anyone else here is in to making their own music. Either as producers, running their own bands, etc etc...

I'd love to be a dj and make my own trance music. I've played around with some programs but nothing significant has came out of it. As a rock guitarist I will play for people once in a blue moon, but with school and work I don't have much time to play.

Yeah it is mad fun to play around! Especially the day when you decide to go a bit more serious about it and start investing in studio gear

What programs have you been trying out then? I started with Cubase many years ago, and tried a few different ones but finally got stuck with FL Studio since about 6 years now.

I've used audacity for guitar work. But I've been messing around on FL studio for a while now. I like it quite a bit. As a college student it's just hard to drop the money on hobbies when I could use it else where.

I played a few instruments when I was younger (Piano, Flute, Clarinet, Guitar), mostly the Piano and Clarinet. I've always loved music, however I just didn't spend the time with it as I went through my 20's, 30's and 40's.

I've been getting back into music, starting with bass guitar, and recently bought a nice keyboard, as well as Reason so that I could play around with the keyboard/synthesizers…as well as play around with good sound mixing software. Since I've been doing a fair amount of video editing, this is the next step in hopefully producing background music or sound environments for videos. I

Here is a cover I made a year ago. Recorded with Reaper, Amplitube 3 guitar software, Gibson Sg, wattson classic fuzz, echo plex. I can take credit for the crappy playing of the lead guitar and bass.

Sweet! I just recently made a mashup with the following tracks:

Tritonal & Paris Blohm ft Sterling Fox - Colors
Stadiumx ft Taylr Renee - Howl At The Moon

I called it, "Howl At The Colors":

Thanks to some local C5 members, I got the courage to actually DJ at a party for the first time. I was nervous, and had a few interruptions, but my set came out pretty good.

p.s. Tritonal is my favorite. Both Chad and Dave are amazing guys!!!
