Best sounding exhaust thread

I have an axle back loudmouth exhaust and am wondering what else is out there muffler wise? This thing is so loud and I don't have a problem with it just wondering if there is a mid pipe out there to deepen the exhaust note or what everyone else's exhaust sounds like. Buy a Magnaflow Resonated X Pipe for $100, and go to a muffler shop and ask them to replace this with your stock mid H pipe. It will deepen and quieter somewhat the sound, while killing all the raspy.

I installed the Gibson American muscle axle-back stainless on my 13 LS, love the sound, not too loud at highway speeds, nice growl at lower RPM's but not overpowering... Definitely worth looking into, don't have any video for you to listen too but there is a thread somewhere on here about the Gibson exhaust with video if you can find it...

Give this video a shot. It's not ours, but it gives a pretty good idea of the difference.

Our X-Pipes smooth out the sound a bit while eliminating some cabin drone, too. Like the rest of our exhaust systems, it's made in the U.S. out of 100 percent stainless steel and comes with a lifetime warranty.

[EDIT: Yeah, we know it's a V8 in the video, too. Just trying to show the difference, generally speaking, between systems with and without the X-pipe.]

I do like the smoother sound. Definitely going to have to look into one

Thumbs down dream disaster

hi i love this car ! i have a 2012 v6 camaro. I pamper her . i store it in winter and she seen no rain in my care. I did the most stupides thing in my life last sept. 2014. I had a red light and was turning left. an R.V. was facing me and flagged me to turn .I waited and this guy would not stop flagging me to turn, yes you guest it! I turned and was hit on passenger side wheel. My fellow man mislead me, I now have a 2012 v6 camaro damaged to the sum of 6,000.00 to 8,000.00 dollars out of my pocket . I dropped my ins. the week before due to storing her and hoping home owners would be good enough. I was coming back from car wash one last time. So if anybody has spare parts or just feel the need to help a fellow man out ( to the sum of $8,000.00 grand ) do call please. LOL. there is a lesson learned here but come on, must it hurt this bad.I now have full coverage and it's been almost a year now.she is still sitting in my garage waiting to be fixed.I normally do things by the book. But this one just got away from me............ Mr. bill

Do cutouts count? I've had my exhaust diverter for a while and I love the control and sound.

I've been thinking about getting a more restrictive muffler to deepen and quiet the tone and then adding cut outs to have that super loud obnoxious sound when I want it

I did a muffler delete with a cherry bomb vortex muffler. left the resonators in place.
