How to remove headlight bulb from socket?

Trying to change my headlights on my 2011 Camaro 2LT (Non-RS). Took the connector out of the housing but for the life of me can't take out the bulb out of the socket. There is a red latch that moves up and down and tried pulling it out with the latch up and down. Is there a trick to pull the bulb out?

You gotta twist it first. Can't remember which way but it's only like a 1/4 turn. It should pull out easily from there.

Yeah sorry I might have worded it weird. I already twisted and took out the bulb out of the housing,, just can't pull the bulb out of the green connector socket.

If its like the DRLs, there's a tab you have to press for it to release from the holster, at which point you can pull it off.

Do not touch the new bulb with your bare hands. Wear rubber gloves or use a new paper towl to hold the new bulb. The oils from your fingertips will shortened the new bulbs life

But on the halogen lights, I'm pretty sure just pull hard to get the bulb out of the socket.

Thanks! That worked perfectly. Did not realize there was a tab that you have to push and hold down while pulling it off. Every video I saw and instructions on the forums did not mention anything about this. Not even my own manual from the car. Thanks again!
