Keep in mind this is a "best driver's car competition" not a fastest lap time 1/4 mile 0-60 competition.

Go figure...it wasnt the worst performer, but it was rated last. LOL. Thats why I dont buy nor put any thought into anything MT prints. Its pure biased garbage. They were probably mad that it lapped the laguna seca faster than their favorite 370z...despite how much they ragged on the handling and weight.

in their article about the challenger, mustang and the camaro they did get it right by saying the camaro was the best even tho they said the mustang was a close second and the challenger a trailing last

Oh it gets better, the zr1 mopped the floor with the other cars and came in 6th. 1 place above the 370z. LOL what tool bags.

Actually they put the mustang in first. It said so right on the cover.

Eh, never liked Motortrend's ratings. How do you compare a Camaro 1SS to an R8 or a ZR1? I'll take my last place car and know that it's still better than that golf cart they call a Miata.

Sorry guys, Im replying as I read more. So the mazda miata came in 3rd and the zr1 came in 6th. Seriously they run all these tests 0-60 lat g's 1/4 mile, braking, skidpad ect ect....yet they dont judge the cars by them at all? Tell me there isnt money hats at Motor Trend. Why effing compare them in those catagories if the ones that win them all dont matter anyways? Money.
