Lorenzo Wheels

Thinking about getting these for my Camaro. Wanted to get some input from the C5 family.

Good, but heavy. They are about 42 pounds just for the wheel plus about 32 pounds for the tire. So, yeah that's about 75 pounds on each corner. Not horrible, but def heavy. That is a lot of extra weight. If you get those in 22s you will certainly feel it through the steering for sure. But for looks they are sweet. Depends on whether you are going for looks or performance. These are only for looks. But again...sweet. I have big chromies on my blacked out Tahoe.

I was thinking the same thing about these wheels. There is a set of 20s near me for $500 but the weight really makes me think twice. Using the above weights, you could get a quote with shipping from 99705 and see if that saves you money. I know the guy selling them.

Well, the guy I'm going through locally offered them to me with new tires for 1300 (he'd buy my stock wheels for 900).

I had a set of those in 20's on my G8 GT, total weight with a 275/30/20 tire was under 60lbs. I don't know where you get 42lbs. just for the wheel.

The stock front 20x8 wheel is 30 pounds and the stock rear 20x9 is 32 pounds. This is not including the tire. The front 245 tire is 27 pounds, and the rear 275 is 29 pounds. So in stock form the front is 57 pounds and the rear is 61 pounds in stock trim. From everything I have been told, the Lorenzo wheels in general are heavier than stock. The problem is that no place other than Tire Rack really specifies the actual weight. But if you weighed them, then you know for sure. My info is all second hand.

If I go over to Tire Rack and look at a similar Lorenzo wheel (the WL26) in a 22" they are coming out to 42 pounds for just the front wheel and 44 pounds for the rear. With tires these would easily top 70 pounds each. Granted the WL26 is not the same model, and it's 2" larger, so that is a factor. I could be completely wrong on this. Only one of the actual forum tire/wheel vendors could tell us for sure. But if you measured them out for your G8 then that is accurate enough for me. I haven't measured them our personally myself...so I don't want to be a "spec sheet" genuis.

To the OP...if you get a good deal go with them. They are sweet. Don't let us going back and forth ruin it.

I had them on my challenger, good looking wheel but be prepared th polish them if you want them to shine. Out of the box they are rather dull
