ZL1 Replica BLACK WHEELS

House of Wheels sales a complete set of ZL1 black wheels that are the right size for 959.00. I need tires for the winter so I was thinking about getting those and putting some michelin pilots on the black wheels and saving my polished wheels and tires for the summer. Anyone bought from there or know anything about them and is this the tire you would run? I went to ebay and typed in black ZL1 wheels is where I found them.

I don't know about the rims but you can't go wrong with the Michelins. They are far superior to the goodyears in cold weather. With that being said, I can't vouch for how well they will perform in Oklahoma winters. I think you would be better off with a legitimate set of winter tires. But, there may be someone who can vouch for the michelins in the sleet and snow. Hope I helped a little.

I got some replicas but the width was pretty narrow in comparison to what the car can handle, just saying, less patch, and the wider tire/wheels look much better. I know its a winter thing.

They offer a set that are the exact width of the factory wheels,2 at 11 inch and 2 at 10 inch with the same backspace as the factory.I went ahead and ordered a set so I guess I shall see. If they are not the exact size as the factory ones they will be getting them back. I will post back here as soon as I get them delivered to me.

I bought the 20x10 front, 20x11 rear satin black setup and went with Michelin Pilot Supersports. The rims are excellent quality, slightly different than the ZL1 style, but who gives a damn for under a grand. The tires have unbelievable grip. Awesome upgrade IMO.

Michelin has a new all season sport tire out , that comes in 295/35/20 I would just run that all around if I was worried about winter performance, but even that wont be the best in winter

If you switch to the Michelins in the stock tire size the setup weighs less than the factory polished aluminum rim/tires that I replaced. If you size up like I did to 315 rears the rear is slightly heavier but its all tire.

That is what I did. I started to go to the 295 up front but stayed with the stock size. I do not see any difference from the OE wheel and the ones they sell on the look of it so I guess I will see when I get them. They are shipped so maybe I will have them monday or tuesday of next week. I bought the michelin pilot tires and have them now.
