trunk lid issues

Anybody have a problem like this with their trunk lid. When I pop it, it sticks quite often and i have to pull on it for it to release. I really dont want to take it to the dealer around here, is there a simple fix

I don't have that problem but I do have something rolling around in the trunk lid when I open and close it...any ideas what that might be?

This topic has never ever been discussed on this site before...

I'm not gonna find every thread about it, but this is one of at least 3.

Bolt that holds your spoiler came off and is rattling around in there.

I have the issue too (occasionally) and it's not a grease issue, it seems to be that the spring(s) are not pressing up hard enough to pop it.

Good God. We do not need another trunk release/spoiler bolt thread.
1.) Trunk release is a known issue, take it to your dealer and have him adjust the latch.
2.) The rattling in the trunk is most likely a loose spolier bolt that has come off. Either pop the trunk cover off and put it back, or take it to the dealer, they can fix that too.

There's about half a dozen threads on each of these subjects.

ITS A COMMON PROBLEM, there are some little covers over the studs/nuts. open them on and fish arond to get the lose nut out, THEN put it back on using blue lock-tite and they will stay. then take every one, one at a time and do the same. of course yopu could take it to the dealer and have them fix it. but either way, do it before your spoiler falls off going done the road. That has happened to at least one of our members.
