Hagerty insurance?

What do you all think of Hagery?

Gieco was charging me $1800 every six month for my Z28 and two Corvettes. Did not have agreed upon values and the modifications to one of the Corvettes was not covered.

Hagerty is $1500 for a 12 months. Supercharger and all upgrades disclosed, agreed upon values. Seems like a great deal. Half the price and better coverage.

I have had Hagerty insurance on my garage cars throughout most of my adult life. Great company to do business with.

Have had Hagerty many times in the past and have nothing bad to say about them. I never had to submit a claim thankfully so I can't speak to that.

I cancelled Hagerty. I use NCM Insurance now. Great rates and agreed value. They are part of the Corvette museum in KY.

I've used Hagerty for over 10 years.
Good rates, easy to work with.

Best to get input from someone who has made a claim.
I haven't had to so my opinion doesn't count for much.

Had Hagerty, no complains but changed to Grundy Ins, saved 250.00 a year same agreed value and glass replacement which didn't come with Hagerty. JMO

Do all of these have mileage limits? Also, do they exclude HPDEs? I always buy lockton but just curious. Thanks

Yes, Hagerty most definitely limits mileage and they exclude any track or timed events...

Just an fyi, a quote is not an agreement to bind...they gave me a great quote for my 09 Z06, then when actually applied they declined to write it, so make sure they have agreed to bind a policy

The Hagert quote was over double what I am paying now (NJM insurance ) I can't imagine if I actually went to purchase a policy.

I did not start the thread till they called me back and agreed to cover me.
Mine are all agreed on value with modifications. No HPDE is not covered. That is one of the reasons I staid with Gieco. They will cover you once and then drop you. Its kinda a well known in the Vette circles.

For the cost difference I can afford to get HPDE coverage. Its $2100 less a year. That will cover several track days.
