Ummmmmmm, YO !

Or is it, "Yo?"

4 days !

And other than myself and 2010 CamaroJ, I still don't have a clue just who is coming for sure via the Buffalo bridges?

PLEASE CONFIRM so I know how many cars to look/wait for before crossing the caravan. POST HERE AND PM ME so I'm sure to see it one way or the other.

Oh, and extended forecast shows mostly cloudy and 54 degrees on Friday in Oshawa so dress accordingly.

FYI, for those coming through Buffalo, we will be meeting in the parking lot of the Seneca-Niagara Casino (US side within walking distance of the Rainbow Bridge). I will be there really close to 8:30. We will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge no later than 9:00 am.

Stephen Harper said he wanted to come but I told him that he couldn't b/c he didn't own a Camaro

He's too busy giving speeches, at local Tim Horton's shops, on how there's nothing wrong with the Canadian Economy. Gee I wonder why so many people have lost their jobs then
I guess he forgot who manufactured his "secrect service" vehicles (how difficult is it to remember 2 letters).

I am really trying to wait for the convertible SS. (Don't know if I am that patient)
I plan on being at the museum on Sat. to try and make up my mind on colour.
What a great opportunity for me to see all those colours together.
Sat. might just push me to buy the coup.

I just checked with Meta at the Holiday Inn in Oshawa and was told that we only have 4 rooms booked under the Camaro5 rate for Thursday Night and 10 Rooms ( 1 room just this morning ) booked for Friday Night. Inorder to get the meeting room for a cheaper rate on Friday night we are require to have a minimum of 15 rooms booked under the Camaro5 rate for Friday.

Meta said they would be happy to change my room ( down grade my room to that of the $115 for 2 doubles from the $125 room I booked or charge the extra difference from what I booked for to the $125 rate for the 1 King room ) but 11 rooms would make no difference in the price they would charge for the meeting room. So what to do???

I will call Meta again around 4pm on Wednesday to see if we have at least 14 rooms booked for Friday night and if so, I would be happy to change my rate to the $125 for that night just so that we can get the meeting room for cheaper, however, where we stand today, it doesn't seem likely that this target will be reached unless there are others here which booked not using the Camaro5 rate and are interested in change over as well.

You can change your booking by calling 1 ( 905 ) 576-5106 then press the button that links you to the "Group Rate Manager" that will be Meta! I also believe they will still honour the Camaro5 rate of $115 for 2 Double Beds or $125 for 1 King Bed Executive for Friday Night from what I was told today. So if you are planning to stay, please call Meta ASAP!

Thanks,

RetroDude

This is the only site I trust for accurate weather forcasts and as of today, the weather doesn't look to good for us!

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0511

I'm really hoping that the forcast changes between now and Thursday, otherwise raincoats maybe inorder!

This doesn't sound right. I spoke to them on Friday and we had 14 for Friday I think. Let me give them a call to find out.

Sorry, can't bring Waldo in the rain- he's afraid of water. I tried to enroll him in swimming lessons but he wants no part of it. His older Impala brother is capable of making the water-logged trip there though so maybe he'll go instead. He can thank the Oshawa boys for making him too.
