Switched from 3.27 to 3.55 Gears

ballpark on a stock v6 swtiching from 3.27 to 3.55 richmond gear 0-60?
Considering the 6.0 stock 0-60...just a ballpark estimate how much do you think it will cut on the time?

You can't actually gain torque from changing gears.

You can multiply the torque that you already have, but it will still not actually make the car faster. It will, however, get you off the line faster and into the powerband, which could improve your ET's. Horsepower is what actually accelerates the car, not torque.

I give you an rough example.. an ss with 4.11 gears and axle upgrade in last c5 mag gained .17 in 1/4 mile. That should give you an idea of what you are working with.

but like the others have said, you don't gain anything by changing gears. You are just allowing for your car to hit the power band faster.
