I fail at drifting
Camaro - 0
curb - 1 More pics tomorrow....only got these phone pics for now. Gonna take it in and get some estimates on Monday. Do you have to have a dealership do the repairs to maintain your warranty?? I'm not saying it's covered under warranty. I just wanna know if you have to have a dealership fix it to maintain the warranty after it's repaired.
the story is this....stupidity got the best of me, slid sideways into a curb, and hit hard enough that the car was easily at a 45 degree angle to the ground. stupid, stupid, stupid

If the dealer replaces stock parts with replacement OEM parts...they should still be covered under warranty. it may be more expensive than having a small shop do it...but they can come back to you and say "the shop installed them wrong, warranty denied!" Get a quote from a few places if you can...compare... You really shouldn't be sliding around curbs.....

Ouch. That's not going to be cheap.
I would call that an insurance claim. Comprehensive or collision would cover that I would think if the bill gets to high. Keep us posted. |
