Side gill accents?

Is there any discussion of chrome accents for the "Gills" on the side of the Camaro? Accenting them on my '69 makes it look great.

I've been really thinking about doing something to the "gills". I really would like them to be functional but can't bring myself to have them cut out. Airbrushing was mentioned in another thread and I think it could be done with class. BUT the one thing I didn't think about was accenting them with chrome. And you know that "Chrome may not get ya home, but it could get ya laid"! Thanks for the idea.

we have discussed it in the past. they are not going to be open gills. but we have discussed putting black vinyls on the slits. cutting them (tho that would require some extra work). and just adding accents like those posted above from a 1st gen.

Something to make them pop would be sweet...

(i think chrome with the black or cyber gray would look amazing)
