I am manual.
What is evrything I need? Can't be just ring and pinion? I will have to find someone who knows what they are doing for install. Can't be cheap.. |

I had less than a grand in it even after installing 1LE axles as well.

I have my 3.91's installed. Still in quarantine break in. About 5 heat cycles, but only 120 miles so far.
Just ordered Stainless Power Catted Long tubes. The Solo High Flow cats aren't loud enough for me. She is coming along nicely. Even did some compound polish this weekend. Already filled with pollen now.. This should be it for mods after the long tubes and gears.. |

Lots of updates..
Added gears. Only at 300 some miles and the diff has a leak after the 3.91's are installed. Should I be concerned or is it a faulty gasket? Got my LTH and holy crap installing alone is a nightmare. Can't properly align the passenger side bolts to catch. Only 1 catches properly. |

Everywhere aparently. Seems more after header install as well. There is splatter running down the exhaust to the rear of the car. I haven't looked recently. I don't know if I installed the stick correctly. But here is a pick, others have said oil pan gasket. If you look underneath the bottom and sides are a mess from splatter, so hard to pinpoint any other leaks. Rear seal waa replaced as was the oil plug and crush washer. |

That one could be a timing cover not a oil pan.

Well in a few weeks I should be adding my cam to this.
I will be adding a Cam motion 220/230 117Lsa +4 Cam -melling oil pump -CHE trunions -rods, valves, and springs. -likely a new chain and damper if it requires it once the builder takes a look. -other ancillaries, gaskets etc. I only have 55k on it. He said he has never seen a timing chain issue and works on LS's all the time. It is a mild cam and should compliment my 3.91 gears well, I think while adding power and torque throughout the powerband. I also will hopefully have the aggressive oil leak addressed. Fingers crossed. |

update..
While waiting for my Cam to come in, I got a Detroit speed FE4 style rear sway bar and 2 suspensions.... Koni Orange and individual 1LE Front and rear shock/struts. Likely will install the 1LE's with my hotchki's springs above. 1 inch drop and I have the front 2010 style bar. Is the front Hotchki bar or end link an issue for the 1LE fronts? I heard something about bolt differences/drilling etc... Can anyone illustrate? explain? |

I installed a cam last year in April/May and I am looking to upgrade as I am hearing some increased valvetrain noise.
Anyway: I am looking into the GPI SS3 Cam with possibly ported stock heads and/or Rod Mod along with Lifters which I did not do with the mild cam in April. Any suggestions as to anything else to add? Probably replacing the OEM clutch with an equivolent Oem for savings. I assume a new one will hold cammed horsepower. What UDP should I consider? |

You may be hearing the extra valve train noise due to not changing the stock lifters when you did the "mild" cam. You should always install new lifters with a new performance cam, just so these things don't happen. When you do get new lifters, get the GMPP LS7 "caddie" lifters. They are the best without being overkill such as the Johnson's. Recommended by GPI. I am getting ready to swap my Delphi LS7's out for these since I run mine over 7000 rpm a lot. The Delphi's are not built to take that kind of punishment, and the "caddies" are.
