Question Z/28 - EU homologation

Hello.. im looking for solution. I would love to get z/28 but first i need to know if there is anyone that went thru EU homologation of this car.

Do you know if it is possible to switch lights with classic EU spec. E lights ? If they fit from "classic" EU spec Camaro.

I know there is still problem with wiring but i hope you guys can help me get it done.

Thank you, and sorry if there is any thread with this kind of problem.

if people in Australia can make a right hand drive Camaro 5th gen and make everything work, this issue shouldn't be a big problem. With the Z/28, nothing is special about the body panels near the lights so Euro spec lights with the amber turn signals and such should be a direct fit. It appears after a quick google search the SS/ZL1 lights with the LED panels are Euro spec.

I imported my Z/28 to Luxembourg via a specialist US car importer and had it registered here - only minor changes required I recall

Check the UK regional threads. They have a bunch of Camaros in the U.K. Both EU and US spec cars. They've written about the process several times.
Good luck

Just installed Eur.spec LED taillights on my Z/28 with a harness from Gen5 DIY. Rear light, turnsignals, brake and reverse works fine. But when I turn the hazard flash on it flashes the brakelights instead of the amber turnsignals. Was hoping it was basically plug and play, but seems I will be spending some more time in the shop with this. Also the right hand turn signal flashes rapidly, might just be the resistor that is broken?

Hi Jberg805,

have you used a trailer module to divide the combined turn-brake-sinal ?

Unfortunately will not work

You can find my experiences in that topic from post #31 onwards:
