Where does it go? I had to wire mine myself since there are no more ******** harnesses.

It connects to the amp your sub is plugged in to. Did you use a separate amp to power your subwoofer?

Here is my amp attached to the back of the sub box hidden behind the back seat.

A wire runs from the amp, under the floor trim, up to the console. I attached the sub knob to the console by my knee.

yes, its a seperate amp. I am not sure if the amp has a slot for gain control knob. I will look. I know what you are talking about. I had one on the Corvette...

Car is put up till this weekend so when I uncover it, I will check it out.

SCREWED INTO THE TRIM PIECE?!?!?!?!

Love the stitching...

And the amp didnt have a hook up for a remote mounted gain control BUT it did have a control which was on MAX! I played with the settings and much MUCH better.

Did you disconnect your center speaker? It's currently unhooked but it can be hooked back up very easy.

I'll be going. Hope some of you will make it up. It would be nice to get a strong Camaro showing.

I've thought about unhooking my center channel speaker, but haven't done it yet. Some guys say the sound is vastly improved without it and that the stereo separation is better. Others say they can't tell the difference. What is your impression?

I may give it a try to see if I think it's sounds better without it.

I think it sounds more stereo without it and eliminates the front bass. I'll likely leave it unhooked.

I just cut the yellow wire on the amp plug and installed a quick connector.

My next project it to put that and the remote turn on for the amp on a switch so I can switch between factory stereo and the sub. It will be really easy bc the wires are right there.

I think I'll pop the front speaker out and disconnect the wires.

Ha!

It would be comical to see the look on people's faces if they pulled up next to a slick Camaro that was blasting the Biebs.

Someone try it and record the expressions on people's faces.
