Gone for a month now I need a motor wtf!!!

The unfortunate has happened and I'm not happy. I've been on the road for a month and I come back to my zl1 crank it up and I get low engine oil light and a knocking motor, I quickly switch the car off check the dipstick and there is not 1 drop of oil on my dipstick. So I winch the car up on my trailer no leaks, I asked my nephew if he drove it he said no so now I'm stuck with a car that needs a motor. Can anyone chime in on any good shops between ga,fl,sc,nc,va.

Wait....This doesn't sound right at all. Have you tried adding oil and see if it leaks anywhere or the knock goes away? Oil doesn't just evaporate, it had to go somewhere. I think i'd be questioning my nephew a little more sternly.

No leaks at all. No I haven't yet, I've been busy getting my other trucks loaded for next week but I will have some time today to add the oil. Oh his mom which is my sister had to stop me from practicing my mma moves on him!

Reason why I take my keys if I have to leave car behind. Sounds like someone went joy riding while you were gone and is trying to hide the fact. Do you have On Star...See if they can send you a report if and when the problem occurred. Then you might be able to track in down by date and time.

He just confessed after I sat him down and talked to him without threatening too break his arms. He said the low engine oil light came on after taking this chick on a date and he was too focused on what he was trying to accomplish rather than check the car out when the light came on so he continued to drive, I asked him was he driving with a heavy foot and he replies yes I did a burn out or two. He is now packing his things and I'm stuck! He can't afford to pay for any of these repairs so I'm screwed. I did plan on upgrades but just not right now. I still need to figure out where this oil is going

Did he have the car with permission? If not, either he or your sister (if he is a minor) needs to take responsibility.

It's 100% your fault for leaving access to the car to a kid. What the hell did you think would have happened, everyone here when they were young would have done the same damn thing. First chance I had I would have grabbed the keys and been burning rubber all over town lol

Nope! I will be talking with my sister today. I was taking him under my wing to teach him how to run a business so I would have someone to give it too when I want to retire that's why he was living with me but I feel like he just took advantage of the situation since I don't drive the car much.
