Well put

Awaiting arrival of my Camaro, but just a couple thoughts so far:

1) ground effects package should be painted by the factory or included in the price of the pkg - too much discrepancy by the dealer in what they want to charge (I've seen anywhere between $600 -$1200, and the high end is MY dealer).
2) breakout RS items as separate options - I passed on the RS package because of the wheel size. I would have liked the halo headlights and spoiler as "non-RS" features but 20" wheels on Colorado roads as a daily driver = somewhat impractical

Love the design, 2LT and price - it's why I chose this car

Special edition

OK here`s what you do Chevrolet, Muscle cars have cool names and we all know you are making the Z28. Lets say it comes with a LS7 you will also make a special order Z28 with a supercharged LS9. Now this Z will have a special ram air or cowl induction hood maybe a tachometer and oil pressure gauge on the hood as well.
Its also going to have a racing suspension and exhaust, there will be special badging and interior. This car will be called the Z28 Judge or Z28 Sledgehammer or whatever cool name you guys come up with.
And most importantly it will kick the GT500s azz.

Do this and I will put a down payment as soon as you announce your building it.

I wouldn't change much. It's a great car.

1-power passenger seat
2-larger trunk opening
3-handling package option
4-turn off AFM in sport mode for the automatics
5-better shoulder belt retainer
6-raise dead pedal to same height as accelerator

Well i purchased a 2SS/RS LS3.Ordered 3/15/09,received on 8/10/09.
It's been in storage since 10/29/09 with only 2238 miles.Love the car but,here is list of updates that we need;
-functional airscoop
-ABL across the dash
-climate control
-Interior lighting
-memory seats
-sunroof auto close
-backup camera in mirror
-driverside fuel door
-track pack options
- & finally less weight.
This list makes it sound bad.But I would never get rid of my Kickass Camaro.
And thank you for giving us an ear to listen to.

I would love to see a supercharger kit/turbo as an option.

Also the Z-28 needs to be lightened with carbon fiber and the carbon fibrer brakes from the Zr1.

I hope GM will continue to offer an affordable model that's still a great car. I was only able to get my Camaro by choosing an LS - and man have I been pleasantly surprised and impressed!

It would be great to have the option of a dual-clutch transmission.

If that isn't a great first post, nothing is. It's good to have you in the community.

u wanna add all that stuff and have them make it lighter.. :o)

GM if u do add non performance stuff to the car please only make it an option as people should have choice not to have these extras to save weight

Since Camaro is a performance car all I care about mostly is performance. If i wanted luxury id be lookin at like a caddy so please dont weigh the camaro down anymore with non sense..

-Track Package [Stiffer Springs, Shocks, and sway bars](Camaro needs to handle better then Mustang GT)
- Offer Track Package on GM Performance Parts for us that have the car already
- Find way to cut atleast 100lbs.
- Work over LS3 to bump it to atleast over 450HP
- Work with a supercharger company for a warrenty safe supercharger package (600HP preferably). Ford did it dont see why GM cant. LS3 way better engine then Ford 4.6L

Every magazine and show that compares this car to the Mustang for the #1 spot will pretty much only pay attention to 0-60, 1/4 mile, skidpad, slalom and road course..
I want the Camaro to win #1 spot. Lets please make this happen. Its going to be hard being some are bias. 2010 Camaro SS won in 3 out 2 events. I want 2012 to be a Camaro year again..
Thank You for you time

and sorry people I really want this car to performance. Stay light keep the luxurys out. Or just make a Luxury edition package.. Dont hate me people
