But the C7 still looks like a Corvette , the 7th gen Camaro has to be more like what the 2nd gen to the 3rd gen Camaro did , except not turn the Camaro into a square cornered flat rectangular box like they did with the 3rd gen, but that was a change.

They are so out of sorts with the 19 refresh over there on Camaro 6 they are calling it uglier then the 5th gen hahaha. This coming from the owners of that great looking 6th gen. They should be happy there is a version uglier then their cars.

People who bought a Camry-o have little to say when it comes to the looks of the 5th gen.

This forum is as bad as that one... 5th generation vs refreshed 5th generation vs 6th generation vs refreshed 6th generation (coming soon). It's not necessary for Mustang & Challenger owners to bash the Camaro, because we're busy doing it to ourselves. It feels like high school again.

I don't think it's so much bashing as it is personal choice in styling. I for one would take any year Camaro over the same year Mustang or Callenger and I would never 'bash' any other Camaro. That being said, for me, I was looking for a Camaro that looked and performed as a muscle/pony car not as a sports car, I have a Corvette that fulfills my sports needs. For those that want or can only afford a car that fulfills both those wants/needs (to a good balanced degree), the 6th Gen and, even more so, the 2019, is a great choice. For me and those of the same or like mindset, it breaks down like this:

Original Gen5 > Mid Gen Revision > Gen6 > 2019

IMO, Chevy apparently has made the decision and has tried move further away from muscle/pony car looks and performance towards more of sports car looks/performance. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, if that is what you are looking for. There is no doubt a Gen6, 2019 or even a 2014-2015 is an excellent vehicle, offer better features and that they will, stock for stock, out perform my 2013; but, I and, apparently others, still believe they (Chevy) nailed it with the original Gen5 design and wish they had held a little more truer to that. Just as others who love the refresh wish they stopped there in regards to styling). When all is said and done, we are all Camaro enthusiasts and only hope they live on

I understand your point, but I don't need to knock someone's choice to feel better about mine. I felt the original 5th generation retro design had become dated & the refresh struck the perfect balance for me. It doesn't mean that it's something less than mine, it's simply not my choice.
