Looking for some advice.

Time coming up to strip and reseal for the year. My process involved wash (no dry), clay (Meguires), rewash and dry. Then polish and sealant (Klasse AIO and sealant).

This year I will go with Blackfire sealant after polishing, but need good one-step polish. (can do a 2-step if needed) Scratches are typical from a year of summer/winter washing in Florida). Suggestions?

Also, during claying, I didn't wipe off the used lube after running the clay bar. Figured it would come off when washed the second time. Is this the right way, or should all the lube be wiped off as I go?

Also, I have the white gloss factory stripes that I polished/sealed over with the PC and Klasse last time and did no harm to them then.
Like to do the same with the new products as scratches have formed over them too.

Menzerna FG400 is the best one step I've ever used if you have moderate swirls.

You're fine not wiping off the residue.

Thx, after reading your write-ups and looking at Menzerna FG400, there was a link to a card detailing all of their products and different grades of the polish for different needs.
Wasn't sure if I needed to start with something heavier, then move to a lighter polish to finish off.
The swirls I have are just the typical ones you get from a years worth of washing/drying...and like to get rid of as many before the sealer is applied.

Another note...when is washing a must during the clay/polish/sealer process?
I only washed after between the clay and polish steps. Should there be another wash after polish before sealer or not?

Nope. You're fine. I wash pre clay and then don't wash again.

After you remove the swirls I would highly recommend you invest in a Microfiber Madness Incredimitt and Dry Me Crazy towel. I have used these since my last correction 2 months ago, I've washed my car over 20x and haven't induced any swirls using 2 bucket wash method. These aren't cheap, they cost around 55 dollars shipped, but after all the time it takes to get the swirls out, I feel it's well worth the cost not to put them back in.

After my 2 bucket wash, I use weed blower for all drying.
Think the swirls appear from wiping down with detailer and edge-less towels. Can't get rid of the dust everywhere, and after blow drying the dust is already building up and the detail rag just grinds it in.
If only for an indoor, dustless area...

I've often wondered about this theory. This spring I'm going to do a full strip and polish from the bare clear coat. After it's sealed and waxed I'm going to do a close before-and-after inspection of the finish every time I wash it and see if any new swirls appear after drying with the towels. If I get any worthwhile data I'll post a follow-up.

I'm currently using Adam's Great White drying towels, but I'm going to order some Dry Me Crazy towels and give them a try. A lot of folks here give them high ratings, and I'll trust word of mouth over advertising any day.

Looking to get the Menzerna 400, but notice 2 sizes (16 and 32 oz)
Which one would be enough for one or two coats?
