Spark plug question
I have a maggie on my camaro (auto) with the 3.8" pulley, headers and airraid intake. Should I keep the stock plugs or switch to a colder plug like ngk tr6?

The NGK TR6 was recommended to me. I have the same basic setup as you. I gapped mine at 0.035 and they seem to be fine.

How does the Airraid hooked up to the maggie? Was it an easy hookup, I am about to get mine done and was told it may be tough to do. Did you use the Airraid tube or did you have to modify something. I would love to see a picture of this. How does it run?

Definitely run a colder plug. A NGK TR6 would be a very good option for you and it is what we use on our 2010 Camaro with the TVS2300.

i figured a colder plug was needed, but a well known speed shop on this forum told me (over the phone) it was not needed. my instinct says it cannot hurt, except for a touch of mileage.
my other car was running 13 lbs boost, and n2o, i ran a .032 gap on one step colder.

I used the magnuson tube and I cut off the tube section of the stock intake (the part of the stock intake that has the opening to bolt in the air flow sensor), I then used the airraid couplings and one of the magnuson couplings to clamp the tubes to the airraid filter. Car runs great. I think the airraid tube would work if it was trimmed a little bit.

Been using the stock plugs in all of my vehicles since the blowers went on......I have yet to find a need to change them.

Agreed - no need to go colder - GM picked the plug they did for a reason. The quench on the LS3 heads is such that the stock plugs at fine with even 10psi of boost. This assumes the correct tune is in the car
