I scraped my bumper!

Hi you all,

To ease my broken/busted ego by accident yesterday I was pulling into a parking spot and by accident I scraped my lower bumper under neath where the small flexible air dam is attached in the corner on the passenger side against the concrete stop. Good thing the scratch is underneath the bumper and in reality no one will see it as far as I can see. Has this happened to you and is this a common occurance with Camaro guys and gals

Happens. I scrape sometimes when I pull into my driveway. I have started backing in. You have a low car,, It is going to happen.

I dont scrape...i actually am the opposite...im not used to the long front compared to my other cars...so i always come up way short cause im afraid to scrape and when i get out im sticking out a foot of the parking space, then my dumbass has to get back in and start the car again and move up...lol

It's not uncommon...I find myself backing into most spaces that have the concrete stops and I always back into my driveway.

The Horror!!! I tend to not worry about that part of the car much, You have to lay on your back and crawl under it with your head barely fitting underneath it ,The only one besides you that will see it is your mechanic

Consider it a right of passage and a badge of ownership. I wouldn't worry about it. I think I did that on week 2 with my LT

Another reason for black and AGM cars.

OUCH! I've scraped the bottom of the air dam, no biggie...but I've also rashed both passenger side rims trying to tuck into a corner. BIGGIE! I feel your pain.
