I'm at a loss... I've seen my skip shift one time and I was looking for it then... The infernal Hill Start Assist on the other hand... for the love of Pete!

Funny you mention the hill assist. I think I'm the only camaro owner that likes this feature! This is also my first manual so I don't know any different

With 35yrs clutching experience, I can't seem to start off up a hill without the wind blowing it out! It's a tad embarrassing, really...

No, I love it as well. Since I live in a desert, I don't get the experience of starting on hills like some of the other people in here. When I went into Northern AZ and got stuck on a steep hill in traffic, that HSA saved my ass because I didn't know what the hell I was doing!

You can also replace your stock YAW sensor located under the console with one from an A6 car to get rid of the HSA feature.
