Help me decide what to do w/ headers/exhaust
Currently I have a ebay brand (topspeed pro-1) headers to tip system (1 7/8 and 3" catback). I did this before I came in to my current $$ situation that allowed me to go to town upgrading my car.
I'm actually pretty happy with the sound the issue is the shop that did the install when they attempted to dimple the primary that hit the steering shaft they actually made a small crack in the header. Got a refund and all that but I'm thinking now that I have the $$ to go with a better setup. Options I'm considering are: 1) Replace the headers and mid pip only, leaving the catback 2) Replace the whole damn thing. My dilemma is this: Overall goal is ~600rwhp --- should I go 2" on the headers to stick w/ 1 7/8 and should I go 3" again on the exhaust or is 2" enough? Help me spend my $$ Camaro5!

2 Inch Primaries if you are starting fresh. And it all just depends on how much your wanting to spend. I love my New ZL1 quad Corsa Catback with the Black Tipped finish.

Do 3 inch exhaust for sure, the primaries is a toss up either will do but I went 2 inch on the primaries because I knew down the road I would grow into them.

Thats a good amount. Seeing as how headers will run you about a grand. and if you were to go with a cat-back system that will be about 1500-1600 leaving you with plenty for an install and tune.. Id contact Steve at RDP and see what kinda deal he can muster up. I got my cat-back system from him just a month ago.

Absolutely zero need for anything larger than that for that setup.
