Methanol Recommendation??

I know Sunoco and VP are the most used, although I have a Sunoco dealer down the street they said Sunoco Methanol is used for the NHRA, but they have Velocity it's a 99.9% purity will that be ok? New to this, so any help is appreciated. $32 for a 5 gallon or ship in a 5 gallon of VP M1 for over $100.

Thanks.

I've used VP M1 and Sunoco without issue.

IPA isn't methanol, and should not be used.

I've been getting M1 from the local speed shop for like 3.50 per gallon. VP M1 is %99.95 purity and suppost to be the highest in the USA.

Do chemical dealers not sell it over there ?

given how cheap fuel is, pure methanol is bound to be very cheap too ?

Even a 40gal drum isnt overly expensive here in the UK.
