Running 10s at Texas Royal Purple Raceway
As you know C5 Fest is in Texas. I have been running mid and lower 10s with the low temps and DA the last few month. Am sure in May the car will be a little slower but still in the 10s.
So my question is for the ones that run there will they bust my chops with no cage running 10s. Thanks

No cage required for 2008 and newer cars until 9.99ET/135MPH..
You're close on the MPH but should have no problems.

That does not apply to you.
How stringent tech is depends on a lot of things...

Correct, unaltered is the key word. That rule is meant for 100% stock cars.
Some techs will pull you on it, some won't. I've had days without a prob and other days I only got one run in

The car is all stock LOL. Well I'll see the tracks that I run at is good with just a helmet. I've seen cars running 9s with no cage at them.
