Completely Changed My Mind ~ Poll

Well I'm dropping my car off this weekend to have my interior started on, the guy was going to do my door panel inserts and dash trim in red and I was gonna have black leather seats with red inserts, red stitching, and "RS" in red on the headrest BUT I wanna go a different direction with it, I think the red is too much and I wanted some opinions from here.

My new idea is to do the panels all (glossy) black, have "Camaro" airbrushed into the right part of the dash trim in Victory Red with the style that's on our side fenders, just to break it up a little. All black leather seats, red stitching, with "RS" written in red on the headrest but not filled in with red, kinda like this but red stitching around it and black in the middle:

So just wanted to get some opinions I'm getting it done Saturday either way so any input is appreciated.

I like your latest option. The red inserts on the seats would be a bit much for me. The suttle reds with stiching and air brush sounds awesome. The RS insignia would definetly be a must. Please send pics when you are done.

well since you want our opinions.........IF you were to do it all iun black, other than the few things that woulkd be DIFFERENT, that is what it would be, a BLACK INTERIOR. It seems you are making a "statement" with your car, I am all about that.......and IF that is what you are after, your original design sounds GREAT!!! GO FOR IT IN THE RED!!

Well I want something classy but sporty, I think the red leather would be too Mustang-ish and if I don't do the red leather the red trims gonna be too much, I'll probably add red ambient lighting IF I go with my second idea.

Thanks for the input guys, any more is appreciated.

That's what I was thinking, that's why I like the idea of black, I'm still 50-50 about this, hard decision.

I think I like your original idea better.

I want to do this to my car

I don't think it's too much yellow. Actually I would paint the silver trim around the speedo/tach and gear shift yellow also

That's exactly the interior I was gonna do but with the "RS" in the headrest, but I still think the red's gonna be too much, I like the black now but it's too plain, I figure if it's shiny and got some red touches that would be cool too and not overdone.

Don't forget that's a convertible and yellow's not as bright as red, plus the panels aren't shiny, think about it, with the coupe it's dark inside (with the all black) with a bunch of red it's distracting.

You see the thing is, if you actually do red you will look like a total douche.

Its like.

Shutup.

We get it.

You have Camaro.

Black with red accents man. You can play with accents everywhere. Accents are king.

Go with black.

well I will chime in again, go with the RED, but then I have a IOM car, with the IOM interior.........so what I have in what you are getting but in red, I also have the headrests done.........so, there ya go, and I get LOTS of complements on the interior of the car, and they are ALL positive.
