3/8/10 TPW Check-In Station!!!

So now all the pressure of "who's getting #100,000" is over, those of us who will have the next "low" numbers (in the next 100,000) can gather and wait in anxious anticipation . I, for one, am SO ready for this wait to be over. I know I told my husband "oh, I can wait for it to be built", but I know he's sick of me telling him all the stories from this website. Little does he know, once I get the car, I'll never be home

So, how have the rest of you survived your wait? Is anybody else dreaming about Camaros (this is not a joke for me - shows you how much this car is on my mind)? Do tell...

We're doing what your doing. We read and post on these threads until our cars come in or until the weather changes enough to get them out of the garage and on the road. The Hawaiians and southerners are the only people that are driving their cars with the windows down and the wind blowing in their hair. Come summer, nobody will be posting, we'll be driving, washing and waxing them, playing golf, having picnics, going on road trips, etc.

That's true, although it was 55 and sunny in Denver today - even saw a few Corvettes making the daily drive to work today. My luck it will be snowing again when mine is delivered.

Is yours the Synergy? When I first saw that in a Chevy email, I wasn't very impressed. But then I saw the "live" photos from the SEMA show in January and it really looks sharp - definitely a head-turner. What does the interior look like?

It isn't mine yet. It should be going down the line tomorrow or Friday. Then we have to talk it out with the dealership and my wife still isn't sold on the color. The interior is black cloth with green accent stitching. A leather steering wheel, console cover and shift lever, all with green stitching. It has the green door trim panels also. But if my wife doesn't like the color we will be getting a red 1LT/RS. Probably one off the lot in town as long as our dealer can work out a trade. I don't want to cut my dealer out of a sale but I don't want to lose my deposit either.
PS: I dream of the Camaro too when I spend to much time on Camaro5.com. I may need rehab for Camaro addiction!

The interior does sound very unique and something that will make it stand out years from now. I can understand how your wife may be a little hesitant. It's one of those colors that you either really love or really hate. Back up - Victory Red or Red Jewel? The Victory Red would have been a backup color for me. It didn't look that great on the Camaro Build Your Own link, but in person, it's a really great red. IMO, the only color that didn't grab me was the IOM -- too red for an orange car.

Yeah, this website is pretty addictive - I'll have to try to cut back some. Don't think I can go cold turkey.

3/8/10 TPW is now on the block. You all are now in the final three week window. Next step is VIN! Good luck with your upcoming restlessness.

New here and love the forums. Found out last week that this week is my TPW. I feel like a gitty little school boy. I wish it was here already.
