Stock Bottom End on a Procharger

I have recently gotten a D1x procharger with a Holley Sniper EFI intake manifold 1050x Injectors and a monster twin disk clutch rated for 1,000 crank HP, and a AEM single nozzle meth kit. (Going to see if I get a dual nozzle in the future.) The pulley in the procharger is 4.25 8 rib. I might want to one day go as low as 3.75
My question is as follows.

How many of you have run a centri supercharger setup with a stock bottom end.

I am really considering just forging the entire engine and doing it right just once. (Rods, Pistons, crank etc.) and then beefing the axle, driveshaft and diff once I am done with the block. Part of me wants to do this route and the other part is yelling at me to just install the damn parts. LMAO

Very nice I hope you have a Fore Innovations return system on order.

Let us know if we can help.

The stock bottom end should hold up just fine as long as you have good fueling and tune.

How much power do you plan on making?

My tuner doesnt advise going beyond 750 at the tire.

For now I am going to use the stock fuel system. Should I want to get more power I will change the fuel pump.

I don't want to go that far. My goal was to do 650rwhp. But if I go and forge the bottom end then I will upgrade everything else.

Sounds past tense. You could have hit 650 with the P1sc. Tell us the truth.

What's your real goal?

This is how you blow engines, The stock fuel pump with a voltage booster is Done at 550 RWHP.

At a bare minimum you need a ZL-1 fuel pump and fuel pump control module and that will be maxed out at 650 RWHP

If you add a JMS voltage booster you can stretch that to 700 RWHP then you need to move to a Fore system or DSX Auxiliary fuel system.

I hope you take this advice I would hate to see you break and engine.

Ted.

I have a 1LE
The ZL1 fuel pump is already in this car. I have a 1LE so most of the stuff in the ZL1 besides the MR and the supercharger are in this car. That is why I was mentioning 650rwhp to begin with.

Sorry for the thread jack but Ted, I was told by my tuner that on my tune with the original pulley that came with my Maggie kit, I that could go down one size on the same tune and not run out of fuel. FWIW the kit dyno'd at 520 on 91 pump gas. Does that sound like accurate info without knowing all the particulars?

Well for now it is still 650rwhp until I get bored. LOL I got the D1x because it can make up to 1,000 hp but I am not going to go that high. Yet

Stock fuel pump control module commands 42 psi at full throttle, then subtract your boost of 10 psi for example and you can have 32 psi effective fuel pressure.

You need the FPCM and I would recommend a fuel pump voltage booster as well.

Ted.
