Does anyone know anything about the tint label that is on the drivers side window of my 2012 Camaro LS V6? It list a "TRANSP" rating of 70%. Is this common with all 5th Gen Camaros? It seems I have seen other Camaros with much darker factory tint than mine. (see pic)

That wording is on all stock Camaros as nuke pointed out. The only reason you see yours so boldly IS the white "theft" sticker behind it that someone put on there. Take the sticker off and you won't notice it anymore!

70% is the transmission percentage of the glass. Doesn't all the glass on your car have a transmission percentage rating?

No...its just the drivers side glass. I was curious about other Camaros I have seen have much darker tint glass. I actually prefer the less tint like what I currently have now.

I just checked. Every window in my 2010 has transmission percentage called out. All the windows are original except the windshield, which is my third so far. But it's Pilkington just like the original.
