I would love a way to get my CoA... but just like my car cover... I don't think I will ever see it.

Facebook
Your registry facebook page may be better as a facebook group. It'll keep the spammers out.
There are numerous advantages to a group versus page.

Ill be working on the site this weekend. Been busy with work and school. Three day weekend, hopefully I can get a few pages squared away and add some content.

registry..and other stuff
There are a core group of folks on the Z/28 section of Camaro5, who post -> like I do, almost exclusively in the Z-28 section.
Justified, thanks for that link..I can use the Z/28 logo to get my chairs with a Z/28 logo now..combined with my Z06 logo!! On the registry..we could do a website or a facebook page...not being a fan of facebook... I'll go the route that everyone else likes. As far as fees, if there's a cost to getting a hosted GoDaddy site - lets post what that is. I've got 50$/year I'll give to have an exclusive Z/28 website...Alternately perhaps Camaro5 would give us a members only Z/28 section- the kind where your VIN gets you in, and we pay a members fee to be in it every year...or a lifetime fee?? That way we have verified Z/28 owners - on a hosted website. We might even be able to find a sponsor for our section; just an idea... For someone out there with a COA on their Z-28; can someone post or download a scan of their COA into a dropbox folder? There are some like me- I bought my car with 318 miles, and the idiot that owned it before me wouldn't give up the car's COA to me. I've been an industrial chemist my entire life and have a lot of experience in printing and coating. I'm thinking we can make our own COA's for owners like me..every bit as nice as the Chevy version. Using a high resolution scan (1200 dpi) of the COA; we can change the variable data - owners name - and them re-print them with an HP indigo printer - its essentially got dye sublimation resolution 600 to 1200 dpi; the inks are colors dispersed in low viscosity hot melts..and applied in a roller chain; just like the original offset printing used to make the COA. If someone can either loan me their COA or scan it in at their end in high resolution at 1200 dpi, I'll see what I can do in making these for the group in my spare time. I'll photoshop it to remove any errors; but if someone scans it, be sure to clean the glass face plate on the scanner before shooting the scan of the COA. Shoot me a PM and I'll setup a dropbox folder online where you can upload the file to.
