Love chicken and so far Canes is my choice. Started going to them in Columbus when I visited my son about 8 yrs ago. Moved to Kansas City area in 1999 and none were around. They opened one in the area a little over a yr ago. Great food.

That's a real bummer to hear that they closed a lot of stores. My first job was at Lee's Chicken. Thankfully that one is still open. Dang, now I want fried chicken!

I had Popeyes chicken, it wasn't bad, at least in my opinion.

You know, I got to thinking about what you guys were saying. Just a bad experience. So I decided to take a quick photo of the place. This is today (Saturday) between the hours of noon to 4pm. Should be one of their busiest times. Looks like I am not the only one that has had a "bad experience" there. Same exact way in the neighboring city. Maybe more toward the middle part of the country it is different. But here. No go.....

And yes, they are open. Had two cars on the other side where the employees park

The parking lot does make it look close.

Off topic a little but there was a sandwhich place in Montana that open. It was hype up to be good and was lucky to have one open. Went there opening week to try a little bit of everything my fiancé and I. The food was shit, just gross.
Days/weeks later the parking lot was all but empty expect for two cars (people working there). This fast food place was on the busy side of town and street. Within a years time it was closed.

We tried the poop-eye friggin chicken this year. The help didn't speak very good english. The manager had to take our order then explain it to the employee. Will never eat in one of them again. They also put in a Mighty Taco place. Just clear crap suppose to be bigger and more in the taco then Taco Bell. Prices higher less product in the taco. The place shut down in less that 6 months.

Totally agree.

I found them on a road trip several years ago in Illinois outside Joliet...

Then they opened up here, brought some home to the SWAMBO and mini SWAMBO.

Now, years later... they stopped making it.
