PRICE CHECK

I have found a 2013 ZL1 that is black with a A6 in it. No hole in the roof and does not have the exposed carbon fiber hood insert. The only option is navigation. 4345 miles and they are asking 39k for it. They don't seem to want to budge off of that. I have looked at some 15 models and they are in the 42-45 area. I was thinking 34-35 at the most for the 13. Am I correct?

I use carguru.com as my point of reference for any car prices. Yellow seems to be the cheapest. But, with 4k miles, I'd say you are doing some wishful thinking at $34k - $35k.

I missed one 2 weeks ago at a Kansas chevy dealer that had 5600 miles for 35k just like this one but a different color. So if they won't take that I will keep looking.

The nav is useless so there are no real options, just the A6. I'd keep looking unless you're in love with the car.

as a comparable, dealer asking $37.5k OBO.
The dealer asking 35k in Kansas was a good price wanting to move the car. Very nice examples are often available from individuals for $35k.
I think you'll usually see the 32-34k cars with <30k miles on them as a reasonable buy. The for sale section on camaro5 will find you a car if you have time.

I agree a little high for a no option car....If they wont come down to atleast 36-37.. keep looking...

My buddy just bought a 2014 with exposed carbon, nav, Recaros, embroidered console, sunroof, and car cover with 5200 miles on it for $39,000 even...

Well, I guess I should have qualified it. So many aftermarket navs are far superior for a fraction of the price.

I have had bad experiences with the factory nav and do not use it. I use my cell phone. Way way more accurate. I just put that in the description of the car as it is a option though I would prefer it was not on the car. I hear what some of you are saying and I would like to have a 14/15 model with the recaro's so I will keep looking. This 13 model caught my eye because of the low mileage and it is black and that is the color I prefer. Thanks for your input guys.

Low mileage demands a premium. The issue with 13's is the supercharger rattle. If the car was bought in late 2012 your almost at the end of your powertrain warranty. I'm looking at a 2,000 mile 15 with no options except nav, which is useless, for 42k. And it's yellow. But I senior owner and bought late 2015. It's an automatic and that's what I'm after.

They are banking on the low miles. Its a disadvantage to us when we sell, because most ZL1s on the market feature low miles, between 0-12k miles. If it isn't satisfactory then keep looking. It would be nice to have a 15 with just a little bit of the warranty left.

The car has warranty left plus the dealer is a GM dealer and they have certified it for another year from the date of whoever buys it. I have found a 15 model today and a 14 also for about the same money they are asking for the 13. Both of those have less than 10k miles so I am thinking about those. I don't want to start another debate on the tail lights but I do favor the 13 models but the 14-15 models have grown on me some. I guess it will come down to the best deal for the money.

Don't worry about the tail lights. You want the best condition and the best advantages for the money. If I were in the market, I'd look for Recaros, one owner with no accidents, 6,000 miles or less (10,000 miles or less is where you'd want to be), no dings or scratches and very little paint chipping, and some type of warranty. I'm a picky shopper and I bargain hard! Good luck.
