Emailed Jessica already, but I just wanted to come on here and thank everyone involved for bringing us regular folks such a generous opportunity, and I hope to meet many of you at SEMA if/when Jessica gets this company name thing figured out with them.

why doesn't someone start a "problems registering for sema through AAC thread"?

the last 40 or so posts are just that, instead of who is attending.

I got an email from Jessica today also and she did not say that. What she told me is that we will not be able to get the discounted rate as mentioned before.

She is going to speek to a SEMA rep next week to get the address situation sorted out so our registration package can be sent directly to us instead of AAC.

here is the latest from her:

"We apologize for the delay in registration. We have been vigorously working with SEMA and the third party "Exhibitor Invites". You recently submitted information to be a guest at the upcoming SEMA show in November. We were told by Exhibitor Invites that we could extend the discounted rate to all of our customers. This was however not in compliance with SEMAs policy and is not available to those who do not own or are not affiliated with some automotive shop.

If you are or are somehow affiliated with a shop or a dealer in aftermarket automotive, we would be happy to extend the discounted registration to you. Please let me know if you have any questions."

Sounds like a no go to me.

That's the same email I got as well!

What she said in the email was that they (AAC) thought they could extend the "discounted rate" to all of there customers. But that is not in compliance with SEMA.

But "IF" you are somehow affiliated with a shop or a dealer in aftermarket automotive, they would be happy to extend the discounted registration to us.

I think we need to start a separate thread on this, is getting off topic.

I posted this in another thread already but thought it was re-post worthy.

I never got that email but it sounds like to me that we all will still be able to go, just not at a discounted rate bc were arent connected to the automotive aftermarket.Who cares, AAC doing these personal invites is all worth it despite having to pay $25 instead of $12.50; bc if you think about it, the invite is priceless. I sure everybody would be lining up to pay $25. Hell im sure people would pay $25 a day which would put the total for the week at $100, when its only $25 for the entire event.

From what i was told by Jessica on saturday, we should know something today, hopefully in the line of some sort of fix.

Thank you AAC, if it werent for you i would never be able to attend

For most of us this is a once in a lifetime event, and I agree with 5THGENRS on thanking Jessica at AAC for making this happen for all of us.

I know it must have been hard for all at AAC to field all the questions we had, but that shows the type of customer service AAC has for it's customers.

Job will done Jessica and all at AAC.

That's sucks! I already booked my tickets and hotel hoping to get in through AAC. Thankfully I'm still getting in (for all the days) through my friend that owns a car dealership.

With the OPINION LEADER SURVEY/REGISTRATION, that will only be valid for one day IF you qualify, and it is a limited amount as well.

I know a lot of guys will be upset they can't get to SEMA through the Exhibitor Invites from AAC. It was nice what you guys were trying to do though.

Jessica worked hard on this, it's a shame it didn't work out but, I really appreciate the effort.
