ok ive got a few days drive time in the car now, here is my thoughts! I LOVE IT!

I can not stress enough how important the rock deflectors are along with the clear bra on the quarter panels etc. Here in Missouri when it snows or sleets they put down salt, sinders, sand, etc and it makes a mess on the roads in the winter time. even now a week after the last snow if I am driving and get "out of the groove" to change lanes you can hear the car really takes a pounding from all the rocks. I allready have a few chips in the clear bra. its definately paid for itself already.

I also cant wait to replace the brake pads with some that produce less brake dust
after driving to work and back 24 miles in total I can ruin a brand new microfiber towel after wiping down the lower half of the car and all 4 wheels.

Picked mine up last night. They didn't have it quite finished up after the grille swap and pdi, but I wasn't waiting another day. Had to put the inner fenders back in and the front wheels to get it ready but it didn't take more than a few minutes. I put around 40 miles on it last night. I wasn't expecting it to be much different from the 2010 I had, but the difference is blatantly obvious. There is a huge difference between the two. 3 days shy of a 4 month wait. The wait was worth it. The GM bs on the other hand was not.

Anyway ill be doing a blackout kit for the markers and stuff, ZL1 rockers, and 1LE badges from emblempros pretty quick. Once I get it broke in ill be doing intake, exhaust, and a tune. Not sure what mid section I am going to use because I want to retain the NPP, but I want 3" from the collector to the axle back.

Well, Ive had some sort of bad luck. I picked my car up last Saturday, and the MyLink volume and tuning knobs quit working, as well as the lights for the a/c controls. After calling GM on Sunday and several attempts to reset the unit failing, it was determined that the car be taken back to the dealer. So, last Tuesday, it went back and they replaced the faceplate on the radio which includes the a/c controls. I picked it up last Saturday, drove 5 miles away from the dealer and it started freezing up again. Same thing it was doing before. Only control was through the use of the steering wheel. I carried it back go the dealer Tuesday morning, they called today and said it was fixed. Good grief, I hope so. Ill update when I get it home.
